In the heart of Patagonia lies a remarkable natural treasure: the Perito Moreno Glacier. This colossal glacier, aged 18,000 years and stretching over 250 square kilometres, is a true marvel. Nestled within the Los Glaciares National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it left an indelible mark on my soul.
In March 2018, I ventured to this incredible place. Standing before the glacier, I was in sheer awe of its immense size and completely entranced by its deep blue hues. It was something that I had never seen before.
As it inched toward the lake, the glacier created a symphony of sounds, seemingly narrating Earth's history and science, momentarily leaving me lost for words.
After a full day of exploration, I couldn’t leave without preserving its essence. As it was overcast weather on that day, I made the deliberate choice to highlight the glacier’s striking blue in post-processing.
