This stunning resin drenched sculptural painting is created with the excavated paint from my work Excavation 2A where chisels were used to mine layered paint from beneath the surface of the work.
These individual pieces, stunning in their own right, have been piled into a pale timber box frame to result in a highly unusual, colourful abstraction with oodles of texture.
Wall-hanging or free-standing this work is a unique and exciting example of contemporary art.
The work is fitted with D-rings and wire for immediate hanging. On the back you will find my signature, title, and date. The artwork is registered with the NRAA (National Registry for Australian Artists), details of the registration will be included with a Certificate of Authenticity.
