    In the waterside scenery that we find beautiful, there is a connection of life, and the relationship of "eat and be eaten" is always present.
    I aimed to create a work that not only shows the beauty of the water's edge, but also allows the viewer to feel the presence of the creatures that live there.

    　All living things live by receiving someone's life. Yuriko Teramoto, who was born and raised in a satoyama
    She herself is also a woman who sees the creatures who are trying their best to survive in the sometimes cruel and harsh nature. She was taught that she, too, was a "living being" as she watched the creatures struggling to hold on to their lives in the sometimes cruel and harsh environment of nature.
    She was taught that she, too, was "being kept alive. Using washi paper and iwa-enogu, a traditional Japanese painting technique, she creates her works on the theme of the beauty of nature and the connection between life.

    Does this art work need a frame?

    • If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
