This year, TRiCERA took over the management of the competition, which was held at Shibuya Cast in February.

We hope that you will take the opportunity to view the works of these "UPDRAFT" artists, who are all aiming to take the Japanese art scene to new heights.

Statement

This exhibition focuses on five artists selected for the "100(Hyaku) nin 10 2023/24,", an exhibition held in February this year to promote the careers of young artists, who are pushing forward new expressions in the Japanese art scene.

Kamakiriko who takes on the challenge of "rreconstructing the Bijin-ga",
Nakamitsuki who confronts "music" and depicts communication before it becomes words,
Ruca Tairaku who paints thought-provoking works about human freedom and relationships, using dogs as a motif,
Hidehiko Iijima who depicts the reality of the mixture of disgust and cuteness through stuffed animals, and Kai Inoue who attempts to fuse ceramics and street art.

Don't miss out on the "UPDRAFT" that these contemporary artists are creating!
