The seat and shoes are made of Jindai cedar. Jindai cedar is said to be a cedar tree that lived in ancient times, but was buried under soil, volcanic ash, or water in a short time due to earthquakes, eruptions, floods, etc., and has passed many years without decaying because it was cut off from oxygen. Having had the opportunity to work with such rare Jindai cedars, I created this work by overlapping the life force and mystique of the Jindai cedars, which have passed through many generations while buried, with my world view. The heel of the left foot is left floating, but by creating a footrest, it is supported at three points: the toe and heel of the right foot, and the toe of the left foot. As a result, it is as stable as a normal tripod stool or the like. The seat surface is small for a Tstool. The size of the seat only, viewed from above, is 29.0 cm x 24.5 cm. It is relatively lightweight and can be carried with one hand. It is finished without painting. We believe that by regularly wiping it dry, it will reveal an even deeper color and gloss. The Tstool number is placed on the sole of the left shoe using a burning pen. Material] Seat and shoes: cedar (Jindai cedar), foot: driftwood
