    Description

The main motifs of this work are the sea, the earth, and minerals. The rugged and raised areas represent the earth, the angular areas represent minerals born with regular shapes, and the blurred areas of paint represent lakes. Why do we think beautiful nature is beautiful? Nature was not designed to look beautiful from the human point of view, but rather, it is the product of a series of coincidences that happen to be beautiful to the human senses. The world, like nature, is a series of coincidences, and the fact that you were able to meet someone important to you, that you were able to meet a turning point in your life, and that you are here now are all miracles that you were able to pull together from a number of different patterns and combinations. We wish to link the beautiful nature created by chance with our lives, and to remind ourselves that our existence here and now is a series of miracles and coincidences.

  • About this artist

    Concept

He produces works based on the concept of "time flowing slowly. As the saying goes, time is money, and time is very valuable. Artist Risako Fuji focuses on the concept of time. In everyday life, we are busy and time flies by in the blink of an eye. However, when she visits a hot spring resort and is surrounded by nature or gazes at the beauty of nature, she notices that somehow time slows down and finds wonder and mystery in this phenomenon. His main motifs are lake and seascapes, natural ores, and insects, all of which are created by nature. She hopes that the viewer will feel the beauty of nature and the time spent in it. Risako Fuji started painting figurative paintings when she first started her career, and her activities expanded to the point where she received orders to create murals for stores. She thought she had found a way to work as a mural artist, but then she realized that there was a gap between her career as an artist and what she wanted to build up as an artist. After a period of self-reflection, she came to the conclusion that she wanted to build her career as an artist by creating abstract paintings, and established her current style. She is also particular about her painting materials. She learned the basic use of oil paints at a painting school that inspired her to create her works. She had been using oil paints to create her works, but they were slow to dry and required a lot of time to create. Therefore, he tried using acrylic paint, which dries quickly and is easy to handle. However, compared to oil paints, acrylic paints could not express the luster and indescribable high quality of the finished product. As a result of experimenting with both painting materials, he decided to produce works using two types of painting materials. She is in the process of experimenting with many mediums and materials, and if something new strikes her fancy, she will adopt it. We can expect to see a new evolution in her work.
