Risako Fuji started painting figurative paintings when she first started her career, and her activities expanded to the point where she received orders to create murals for stores. She thought she had found a way to work as a mural artist, but then she realized that there was a gap between her career as an artist and what she wanted to build up as an artist. After a period of self-reflection, she came to the conclusion that she wanted to build her career as an artist by creating abstract paintings, and established her current style.
