Like many of my series, ‘It Takes a village’ is going thru it’s own evolution as a body of work. And so am I personally. I’ve often said there’s a mirroring that happens between life(my life) and art. Im creating from such a raw space, vulnerable and completely unmasked. This is the first piece from the evolving version of the series, it’s joyful. Im intentional about the energy I put out and the work. Its a celebration after the pain that takes place when we are blooming, the growing pains. When we get to the other side of it, and we begin to understand why things happen the way they do. Our vision, sharper and clearer. The evolution of the Series is still a reminder that even in these moments of our unfolding, we are not alone. We have never been and we will never be. Life stretches us, let it so you can let the gifts unfold.
