    Description

    My alter ego "Kaerukawaruko". Renkon Keshi," a mix of Tsuchiura's famous lotus root and kokeshi doll. Maid Kokeshi," a kokeshi doll that has become a maid. All these characters I love are here! The characters will be made lively by collage of cardboard with clothes, scraps of kimono, acrylic paints, and sequins, representing the rough waves of the Pacific Ocean, lotus flowers, and Uchikakebana (a fireworks display). It is truly "Amazing!" We will bring energy to you all!

    　If I change, the people around me will change too. I am working under the artist name "KAERU KAERU KAERU KO" with the thought, "I will start my life over and revive it. I am currently absorbed in creating semi-3-dimensional collage works using cardboard, scraps of clothing and kimonos, acrylic paints, sequins, and other materials. I would like to continue to create passionate works that will inspire those who come into contact with my creations, while challenging myself to find new ways of expression to breathe new life into discarded clothes and kimonos.

    Does this art work need a frame?

    In many cases, art works with a canvas stretched over a wooden frame can be displayed as is. Thin art works other than canvases are easier to frame. For any questions or concerns please chat us.

    What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

    • If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.
    • If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
