Description

The original painting is done in gouache on white cardboard. I offer you this art reproduction, a 42x42cm poster to be framed by yourself. This painting is composed of multicolored birds and flowers on a dark green background. It's rather spring-like. I drew a quarter of the motif, which was then transferred like a mirror to the right and below. I like to immerse myself in an era or a character before embarking on a drawing. I research before I start, or I travel, and when an image appears to me, I begin my work.

Concept

I'm Lucrezia Solena, Textile Designer and Artisan d'Art in the Dordogne.
After graduating in Advertising Design and Decorative Arts in Bordeaux, I continued my studies with a DUT in Archaeology in Arras.
I opened my first gallery/boutique in Sarlat to sell my drawings and paintings, followed by a series of solo and group exhibitions: Sarlat, Saint-Tropez, Vendée, Hong-Kong, Saint-Malo, Dinard....
As time went by, I became an Artisane d'Art, and now make fashion accessories in one-off pieces and small series: clutches, scarves, cases...as well as original gouache paintings on white cardboard. The motifs are designed for my collections in my studio. They are then professionally printed on a variety of media. Everything is done by hand to offer you quality products.

Does this art work need a frame?

In many cases, art works with a canvas stretched over a wooden frame can be displayed as is. Thin art works other than canvases are easier to frame. For any questions or concerns please chat us.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
