    Description

    This work will be an intaglio print made of polymer resin with woodblock prints. This print has been exhibited and preserved in an art gallery at a university in Dubai, UAE. The title was originally "Rhyme," but some of the works are listed as "Ennui" because they are often exhibited abroad. I exhibited it in Dubai as a pair with a work called "Rreminiscence. The edition is 20, but it has been well received and there are only a few pieces left.

    Concept

    I am currently expressing my own unique world in figurative and abstract forms in paintings and prints, using images from the words of novels and essays from Japan and abroad.
    I have been a self-taught artist since 1980.
    Early on, I fell in love with surrealism and learned how to express what was true to my inner self. From 2015 to the present, I have been studying printmaking and pursuing my own unique expression, and have exhibited my works both in Japan and abroad. In any case, what is consistent is that I am conscious of being Japanese, thinking about what I am, and expressing myself on the plane.

    Does this art work need a frame?

    In many cases, art works with a canvas stretched over a wooden frame can be displayed as is. Thin art works other than canvases are easier to frame. For any questions or concerns please chat us.

    What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

    • If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.
    • If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.
    • If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
