My artistic research focuses on the permanent dialogue of the artist with their work and environment, with an emphatic reflection from the pictorial. On canvas, through effective scenes and visual montages, I explore the analogies and dialectics existing in the environment that promote the conjunction of nature and urban devices in everyday life. Through a visual archeology based on the interpretation and proposal of signs of the intersection of spaces, the human beings, the stories, the ruins and the landscape; by optical distortions of the painting. This seeks to be an instrument that makes possible a different look at reality, to “contemplate” it, under a different staging; that arises from the impulse to confront our immediate surroundings.
