Born in Shizuoka Prefecture. Textile artist. She is active in holding solo exhibitions and participating in group and public exhibitions. When she was a high school student, she saw the works of Keisuke Serizawa, an intangible cultural property holder, which sparked her interest in designing and creating her own textiles. She entered Joshibi University of Art and Design, majoring in Crafts, where she learned the basics of weaving, dyeing, and embroidery. Later, she specialized in research and production of weaving techniques, which she found attractive and suited to herself.
