Stéphanie

Stéphanie is a visual artist born in Epinal (the City of Images) and began painting under the influence of her father, a watercolorist.

Stéphanie is a visual artist born in Epinal (the City of Images) and began painting under the influence of her father, a watercolorist.

From 1996 to 2000, Stéphanie studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts d'Epinal (Ecole de l'Image). She explored traditional artistic techniques (painting, sculpture, photography, ...) and obtained a degree in Plastic Arts.

She trained as a teacher at the I.U.F.M. in Strasbourg and in web design at the I.N.P.L. in Nancy.

She opens a communication agency from 2003 to 2014 where she creates websites, animations, posters and album covers for local bands.

Then, she teaches Applied Arts in professional high school for a few years within the National Education.

After spending a few years in Nancy (54), Stéphanie settled in a quiet place near Commercy (55) to set up her workshop.

Since 2014, Stéphanie creates ballpoint pen illustrations and acrylic paintings featuring characters, friendly and sometimes disturbing monsters in imagined or existing settings.

Her recent training as a Painter Decorator, has allowed her to deepen the various techniques of trompe l'oeil and decorative painting.

Little by little, his work is refined, representing in a more realistic way his imagination, which a photograph cannot do...
