Concept

Artistic process Marie-Ange Busellato, of italian origin, is a painter born in a little village, Onoz in Belgium. Passionate about drawing since childhood, she obtained diplomas in painting, aesthetic analysis, art history and drawing after her training at the Academy of Fine Arts (Belgium) but also during her workshops in France with renowned painters. A colorist first of all, she is influenced by Jean-Baptiste Corot, Edward Hopper and René Magritte, but also by the impressionists, the exaltation of the painting of Vincent Van Gogh, by Vassily Kandinsky, Gustave Klimt... The figurative is since its beginnings widely represented in its themes, but as in her pictorial approach her latest paintings want to demonstrate a technique, an acquired technique and maturity that tend towards an abstraction even in its landscapes. Oil is privileged in his works. Every painting represents for her the beginning of an adventure and a new challenge.
