    説明

    心に浮かんだままの形をキャンバスに描く。何度も何度も何日も、どんどん重ねて描く。

    描き続けていると、海が心に浮かんできた。打ち寄せる波が心の形を削る。削られまいと思うが、波のエネルギーは大きい。そのうちに、波も形を持ち始める。

    図と地の関係は人間と環境に似ていていつも危うく、境界線はとても繊細だ。

    コンセプト

    子供の頃に読んだ武者小路実篤の『一個の人間』という詩が私の原点であり、それこそがコンセプトです。

    アーティストは皆、自分なりの哲学を作り上げていくものですが、近代詩のこの1編は私の哲学の礎石となっています。私の作品は皆、この『一個の人間』という詩の一節『一個の人間でいいのではないか』をタイトルにしています。そこから生まれる色や形やマチエールは、私の心の形であり、時に誰かの心の形でもあります。共感したり反発したりしながらも、作品を通して、様々な色や形の心に触れてもらえると嬉しいです。

    また同時に『一個の人間』という礎石は、ホモサピエンスと呼ばれる人類の礎石として、元来、誰の心にも存在すると考えています。色や形は様々でも、互いに認め合うことは可能なはずです。

    私は、私の最も深い泉から、最も新鮮な生命の泉を汲み取って、心の形を描き続けたいと思っています。
