Materials: aluminum, copper, brass, gold leaf, silver leaf] I tried to create a form that sounds like music. This is a series of wall clocks created with the feeling of a painting on the wall, using the properties and colors of various metals. Using the forging technique, I beat the plate with a hammer to form it into a semi-three-dimensional shape. By using several types of hammers of different shapes and patterns, the surface texture of the work can be enjoyed. It is heavy enough to be displayed with a single thumbtack. The clock itself is a Japanese quality SKP sweep movement (sweep type: continuous second hand type) ("SKP" is a registered trademark of Seiko Clock Inc.) One AA battery is required.
