    Description

    This work is based on an image of a lizard, which is expressed three-dimensionally using paper craft technology. The body and feet are sculpted. The surface has a glossy glossy surface with colorful floral patterns superimposed on the original expression of the lizard. The modeling of the body was done with great attention to detail in order to express the twisted state of the body, resulting in a very realistic finish. Special attention was paid to the body line, so you can feel the smooth curves of the body. The tail has been greatly deformed to give the figure a more powerful appearance. The contrast between the cool proportions and the bright, pretty floral pattern is impressive and gives the work a pop image.     Concept

    Yojiro started creating in addition to producing mixed-media sculptures that he had worked on until then, he began producing work using papercraft techniques. Since then, his papercraft work is highly evaluated by contemporary artists Katsuhiko Hibino and Milan Fukuda. Now he has been engaged in a wide range of activities with a view to new possibilities of papercraft art including collaborating with companies.
