    Description

Mimosa flowers have attracted many people because of their beauty and bright yellow color. Mimosa is a deciduous tree belonging to the genus Acacia, and grows wild in warm regions such as the Mediterranean coast and Australia. In spring, its small yellow, globular flowers bloom densely on its branches, giving off a distinctive sweet fragrance. Because of their distinctive appearance, these flowers are symbolic of the arrival of spring. The yellow color of the mimosa flower contains interesting elements from a color psychology perspective. Yellow is said to symbolize brightness, energy, vitality, creativity, and intelligence, and the bright yellow color of mimosa flowers has the power to give people a cheerful feeling and hope. Yellow is also considered a color that brings warmth and happiness, as it is associated with sunlight. It is a flower suitable for the cold winter and warm spring. Mimosa flowers are also of great artistic value because of their exquisite harmony of dense, beautiful structure and bright yellow color. The densely clustered yellow spherical flowers have inspired a variety of art forms, including painting, photography, and ceramics, and have fascinated artists. The fragility and loveliness of the mimosa flower has also given rise to many expressions in poetry and literature. Furthermore, the mimosa flower is known to be presented on International Women's Day and plays an important role as a symbol of women's rights and equality. Its bright yellow color symbolizes the strength and hope of women and is a beautiful symbol of solidarity. In general, the beauty of the mimosa flower consists of multifaceted elements such as color psychology, artistic value, and symbolism. Its beauty not only brings joy and hope to people, but also continues to be influential in art, literature, and culture. The bright yellow color is deeply engraved in people's hearts, and the beauty and symbolism of the mimosa flower continues to appeal as the beauty of its color and shape. Recognizing the beauty of the mimosa flower is an opportunity for us to reaffirm the importance of the process of coexisting with nature and bringing joy and healing to the hearts of people through the pursuit of beauty. Through its delicate and beautiful form, the mimosa flower expresses the sensitivity of people and their ability to share the values of beauty. Through its delicate and beautiful form, the mimosa flower can be said to be one of the flowers that form the common ground underlying the sensitivity and sense of beauty that people possess. Just like cherry blossoms for the Japanese. In the future, the mimosa flower will continue to inspire many people and artists with its beauty and symbolism. What we should learn from the mimosa flower is that we can sense the beauty of nature and incorporate it into our own expression and life, thereby pursuing a richer life. This is the true message of beauty that the mimosa flower conveys to us.

    Concept

Botanical Photo Composition. That is how I describe my artwork. Over the course of my many years as a florist, I have learned both the Japanese aesthetic of flowers as an ikebana flower arranger and the Western aesthetic of flowers as a floral designer. However, I have long felt frustrated that the beauty of the flowers I see and display every day cannot be reproduced in real life, no matter which photographer I ask. To "arrange flowers" is to ask the flowers and intentionally place them, in other words, to composite them. I realized that unless the photographer can capture the imagination of the flower arranger in his or her mind, the beauty of the flower as I see it cannot be expressed. I decided to stop leaving the photographing to others, and to photograph each flower, leaf, and branch from the perspective and angle that I myself, a long-time flower artist and hanashokunin, had intended to use to arrange the flowers, so that they would appear as individual elements, but also in harmony with the other elements at the end. I decided to photograph each flower, leaf, and branch from a viewpoint and angle based on the intent of the work. In this way, the materials for digital ikebana were freed from the constraints of season and space, and became flowers dreaming of the time when they could be arranged. I cut out these flowers, curated them according to my imagination, combined them, composed them, and composited them onto a digital canvas to present the beauty of flowers that I have witnessed and discovered in the many encounters with flowers over the course of my half-life. In this sense, I am just one of the representatives and agents of the beauty that flowers reveal.
