"Haute Couture and Photography is my greatest passion," fashion photographer Thomas de Leon said.

"The momentum during a shoot is irresistible. All the people, models, stylists, assistant photographers, film crew the whole scenario, the light during the shooting is like being on stage of a grand opera. When all parts come together it is like a romantic poetic trinity and it becomes a love story," he stated in an interview.

"Everything today goes fast, maybe too fast. A cell phone pic, an application, a short blog and the pic goes online within seconds." Haute Couture needs time and intense sensitive personal care, so does Photography on a certain level in his opinion.
"Only on this basis the photo art work could be extraordinary and timeless aesthetic like the remembered works of famous fashion designers."

The designers' Haute Couture is often provocative and transparent but never shows it all. The woman's character who is wearing it has a strong and sensible attitude while her emotions and thoughts are a secret.
Thomas de Leon plays with this subtile mixture and puts it in artworks of calm elegance, a clear line of architecture and hidden sexiness. All components have to merge in each other, not a single component interferes the other, that is his credo.
