    Description

This is a large work that I painted shortly after I first encountered the "silk coloring" technique, as I felt I could depict what I wanted to depict. I painted "a frighteningly beautiful princess like a spirit of the night cherry blossoms" with overdrawn kimono patterns and petals in the background, and it is a work filled with my "love. Even though time has passed since its creation, the colors have not faded much, and the luster has increased compared to when I first started painting it. The artist has resumed his artist activities to deliver this work to someone. This is a large work that I painted when I first encountered the "silk painting" technique and felt that I was able to paint the work I wanted to paint. With the kimono pattern and scattered petals in the background, the work was completed with my "love" for the "terribly beautiful princess" like a spirit of night cherry blossoms, which is the first time I have seen such a work. It has not faded much over time since its creation, and has become more lustrous with each passing year. The artist resumed her artistic activities in order to deliver this work to someone.

  • About this artist

    Concept

Kisho Tsukuda paints princesses wearing billabira hairpins and fluffy skirts, just as she did as a child. Now she uses traditional silk-colored Japanese painting and egg-yolk tempera techniques to depict heroines from Kabuki, historical tales, and fairy tales. The stories we know, which anyone can Google, have the "power to move people's hearts" that has been brushed up over time. Read the book, interact with it with a modern mind, look at the prince with a stern eye different from that of the princess, come up with original costumes, and portray the heroine she wants to meet. I want to share the unspoken "impatience" that everyone has in their genetic memory. Kisho Tsukuda depicts princesses wearing billabira hairpins and fluffy skirts, just as she did as a child.
