Kisho Tsukuda paints princesses wearing billabira hairpins and fluffy skirts, just as she did as a child. Now she uses traditional silk-colored Japanese painting and egg-yolk tempera techniques to depict heroines from Kabuki, historical tales, and fairy tales.
