Description

This watercolor is Antibe the city in the South of France( la cote d'azure), it reflects the warmth of the region during nighttime by the Mediterranean sea and the light reflection on the water. As I walk on the beach I see Antibe with its light from far I developed the nocturnal style painting watercolor, and I think is a unique piece.
The painting is framed with a white frame, it is on Arches cold-pressed paper. It will be shipped with a certificate of authentication.

Concept

This piece represents an oriental background, it is a horse that can tell the history of North Africa and Spain. I visited the south of Spain and went to the Lahabmbra, an amazing Castel which tells a story that connects North Africa and Europe.
This painting is in oil on canvas where after painting I start to destroy some parts of the horse and I kept constructing and destroying until I come up with inner satisfaction. The strokes go in every direction following the movement even the pillars give a sensation that the building is meltig and from the colors, you feel a light of a special evening in history.
