    Description

it's all about a moment when a couple told their lovers a good things... no matter the ambient of people whispers about the situations, they would says like...
everything will gonna be alright, and it's all gonna be over soon and we'll be able to live like we used to be.

but the truth is... nobody knows exactly where all of this will lead us to which path of life we're dragged in. only one reason in mind why a true lovers told that uncertain things... that is what we called love. it's something we always wanna give out without something in returns, it's also sometimes the only reason why we did something bad for a good reasons, and that's also why we keep saying alright while the truth is not.

i know that's sounds like too much stakes for an uncertain outcome. yes indeed. but for the reason of love, i'm sure many person would agree that it's better drowned together with people we really loved in acceptance and smiles, than we can float in the middle of the ocean alone without smiles and surrounded with sorrow and burdens.

it's time to choose who you really believe... your beloved lovers, yourself... or anyone around. does this will really be gonna over soon?

  • About this artist

    Concept

"I am a half self taught artist living in Surakarta and also working regularly in Jogjakarta, Indonesia. I've start painting on canvas since 1999 learning from my high school art teacher but had stop and concentrate on my professional work as 3D artist for some animation house company soon after I finish my study in graphic design at college. and now around these recently years i feel missing my passions in fine art and paintings. so finally here i am starting to made paintings again.
but now with my experiences in digital painting and a 3D artist, I want to combine my paintings between my digital work and fine art, making sketches in digital then transfer it to canvas and completing the rest of the work with oil paint, or just printing my digital artwork and retouch it also combine the digital brush strokes with oil colors on canvas to catch the feels of hand paintings to unifying those painting from a common printed artwork copies. so it will become a piece of an original artworks.
the other reason is that I want to show to the peoples around the world that a digital work could be as good as an original traditional paintings in material quality too, and it also could be beautiful and unique as an artwork. so I'm hoping that in the future people will put more respect on digital works just like they are respecting a traditional artworks. because in the process I think that to make a good digital artworks is also needed a good skills and efforts too. equal with the making of traditional works only in different techniques.
my paintings inspirations comes in many ways, sometimes it comes from my personal life and experiences, something happened around me in social life, and also my perspective in seeing things as a big picture of Asian people. becoming successor and part of a great civilization and culture shapes me into who I am today, which born and raised surrounded by the influences of Javanese-Indonesian culture mostly, Hindi, Malay, Chinese and also Japanese. along with all their great history, legends, and also the religions and proverbs. I think that is a good thing to make those great culture stand longer in a history of this world we are living in. and as an artist, the best thing I can do to help make it happens is to put those ideas into my artworks so it could be seen by many people and enjoyed or studied by anyone interest on that.
I think mostly my works came in modern realism style, and also sometimes it's look like a surreal impressionism. but honestly I didn't really know what is the correct style to categorize my works. so I will let the audience decide that. what I'm doing is just trying to make beautiful artworks and to put what is on my mind into the paintings and hopefully with the concepts and inspirations I describe above, my work can inspire others or my own family and successors to live better from knowing the roots of their ancestor cultures."
