First and foremost, my work is about painting itself. And yet for me, what is a work of art worth if it says nothing? In my work I reflect the sensitivities of people in our time and the time in which I live. THE JOKER AND THE APPLE HARVEST. The obscure figure of the Joker from the Batman universe came to my mind. The story of the motif developed during the painting process on the canvas. The Joker provokes by his preliminary action after he has harvested all the apples except one. A psychopathic game around the figure of the apple, preceded by a long history in humanity, begins. The gestural application of paint, which repeatedly allows the canvas to shine through, allows no mistakes and provides a fleeting liveliness when viewed, supported by the alternation between sharp-blurred, realistic-abstract.
