“Desperate” is a painting that was inspired by the pain inflected on the women in some societies of the World, how their rights are abused that includes violence or domestic violence among others by the men some of the women get married to. This therefore influenced me to make “Desperate” as a tribute to the social evil or situation in some societies on our planet how the female victims are desperate to run away from such atrocities.
“Desperate” is an original abstract oil painting on stretched cotton canvas, it’s also in black and white to further express sadness of the female victims to domestic violence.
