    Description

    «Blue Rose» is an imaginary woman of the end of the 19th century: a transitional period between the golden age of romanticism and a new mechanised époque. A transitional time when many world conceptions and societies changed into a more industrial way of thinking. «Blue Rose» is a reminder of an intangible, sub-conscious world of illusions and dreams, an escape space that people will always mentally go back to to find shelter from the wanna-be rational world around them.

    The quality of the material used, together with the «pointy» character of the strokes creates a misty background in which the image appears almost unintentionally, reminding of a reflection in a window looking into the rainy garden.
