    Description

    I painted this with acrylic paint on a wooden board... I wanted to paint a wave with movement, but it was not enough. I thought it would be fun if the cats were surfing. At first, I was going to draw a manta ray instead of a dolphin, but I decided to use a manta ray in a different work, so I changed it to a dolphin in a hurry. There is a song about a boy riding a dolphin, so I thought it would be interesting to have a surfing cat riding a dolphin in this work ♫

    Concept

    I paint pictures that look as if a scene from a story has been cut out. I always have various stories in my mind, and I draw scenes that come to me as they fall... Cats are the most common motif, but I also draw imaginary creatures... Recently I have been drawing scenic backgrounds that actually exist on earth. It would be interesting if the viewers of my paintings could come up with their own stories.

    What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

    • If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.
    • If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.
    • If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
