What does s/he do? Haruko Kumagai is an artist who has been creating works that confront the trauma of childhood memories and sexual assault. She has been attracting attention from the art scene. Her work continues to evolve, incorporating a wide variety of expressions, from the rich matiere of her own emotions on canvas to the "Akkun" series, in which she depicts her own inner child with her expansive brush strokes.
