movement" I am attempting to visualize the invisible layers of time by overlaying lines on a single canvas as traces of a hand writing in the manner of a diary. By showing the accumulation of lines from different days, places, and times, I hope to make viewers aware of their own existence and the time that flows around them. By reconstructing digitally created images on canvas using paint, I hope viewers will feel the materiality of the paintings and the temperature of the people in them.
-The accumulation of images is similar to the modeling of time. It is as if nature has deposited sand and animal bones to create strata. The time that exists now, the time that does not yet exist, and the time of the past that has already passed away are all invisible to the eye and untouchable by the hand.
What I am doing is similar to an attempt to give substance to time, and I express time in the form of paintings by drawing lines as traces of my hands, layering images, and overlapping the images and lines.
