    Description

When I was a child, my toy box was my treasure. This work was inspired by the excitement of opening a toy box when playing, gacha-gacha, and encompassed dharma. I think there are many people who do not want to forget the excitement of those days even after they become adults. You cannot live on your own. Someone is always around you. With this thought in mind, I have drawn several characters of Dharma, which is a part of Japanese culture. Even as an adult, I colorfully expressed the exciting view of the world that I saw in those days.

  • About this artist

    Concept

I started painting because of my father's influence. My father was very good at drawing pictures, and from my childhood I would sit next to him and draw pictures with him. When I was five years old, my father suddenly went to heaven. When I was in high school, I wanted to make a living by drawing pictures, which my father had left me, and I decided to become a professional. In 2013, at the age of 18 (the youngest in Japan at the time), I made my professional debut as a caricature artist. Six years after his professional debut, he was selected to participate in the ISCA (San Diego) World Caricature Competition, which was his goal, and won four prizes. After that, she decided to go independent in 2019 with the goal of expanding her design range. I started to want many people to know my view of life, so I entered the world of contemporary art and started my second life as an artist. Looking back on my life, I always had many friends around me. Many people have supported me and made me the person I am today. I strongly believe that a person cannot live alone. With this in mind, many of my works are lively, with many Dharma characters in close contact with each other. I draw my works by incorporating character design, which has always been my favorite and for which I am good at, into Japanese themes. Just as there are many different people in the world, there are many different characters in my works. I would be very happy if you could see my works in detail and make various discoveries.
