to be updated I use copper in my work. I use copper in my work because I am attracted by the fascination of the color change that only copper possesses. Copper was the first metal that mankind ever came into contact with, and it was a mysterious metal. I believe that when mankind witnessed the brilliance of copper in their hands for the first time, they must have seen the existence of God in its beautiful luster. I have a number of copper works in my studio, which have slowly changed in color over the years. Most of my work is made by melting small copper chips with argon welding and attaching them together to form a shape, but sometimes the copper does not flow as calculated because of the flame that creates the piece. I always ask myself, "Is this the right way to do it? I always ask myself, "Is this the right way?

to be updated After the age of 30, he became fascinated with roses and started to grow many roses. When he was over 40 years old, he wanted to make vessels to display roses, so he started to learn the art of pottery. When he was over 50 years old, he learned the properties of metal (mainly copper) and began to make sculptures of goddesses to decorate his garden, in addition to vessels to display roses. When he was over 60 years old, he began to exhibit his copper sculptures in national public exhibitions. He also started hybridizing roses and began to try his hand at creating new varieties of roses, and began to exhibit at the International Fragrant Rose New Varieties Competition held at Echigo Hillside Park in Niigata Prefecture. In 2011, he was selected for the 96th Nika Exhibition. In 2013, he was selected for the 52nd - 57th Contemporary Crafts Exhibition in 2018, and in 2019, he won the Contemporary Crafts Award.
