to be uDiego has always been fascinated with visual arts and specially the link between music and video installations. Recently he started developing a new project called “Sculpture perspectives” where he explores the possibility of changing famous sculptures most common points of view in order to see what they see and not the other way around. We as people become the spectators and are able to see them from various different perspectives.

By using 3D models in a computer Diego has been able to manipulate the forms of world famous statues using music beats to trigger changes in angles, perspectives and going inside them to create unique and unrepeatable prints.

“Sculpture perspectives”

What does statutes see?

In every picture there is a perspective: the picture represents its object from a point (or points) of view. Is the same true of statues? What if you could go inside some statues and see them from their focal point of view.

Playing with perspective can help us reassess how we see and capture what is around us. Perspective (or the lack of it) is used in these images to direct the attention of an audience to call into doubt what we asume about our own visual experiences

Does the experience of seeing sculpture involve, not only a point of view on the sculpture itself, but a distinct perspective on the object visible in that sculpture?.

When it comes to seeing objects differently, we can all say that our way of looking at it, our perspective, is unique
