Concept

The central theme of Raymonde Marcher Greinix's work is interpersonal relationships. The origin of her work lies in sculpture, but the typical "signs and configurations" have emerged in the surface, which are subsequently also always implemented plastically. The thematic circle always refers to the human being and extends from the mask to the helmet to the head, to objects of daily life. These are always representative of human needs and feelings. In this way, structures are created that provide the viewer with images to think about. The artist does not provide absolute interpretations of her works. "Everyone has their own perception and therefore it is only natural that my works also say something different to each viewer, awaken different sensations. And that is just as well!" Biography

Raymonde Marcher Greinix is a freelance painter and sculptor from Austria. She graduated from the Höhere technische Lehranstalt für bildnerische Gestaltung in Graz (specialising in sculpture), then attended the Meisterschule für Bildhauerei in Graz and the Akademie der bildenden Künste in Vienna.
