Description

This sculpture is unique and is made of concrete that has been dyed with pigments. The casting mould is destroyed during demoulding.
The highly stylized head comes from the series "Expression, Playing with Forms".
This series of heads is reminiscent of stones, river pebbles, washed up on the shore and left there until the next wave comes. Each head has evolved from the one before it. Playing with positive and negative forms from which human heads have been built.
People like river pebbles that disappear in the mass and yet are unique.

The central theme of Raymonde Marcher Greinix's work is interpersonal relationships.
The origin of her work lies in sculpture, but the typical "signs and configurations" have emerged in the surface, which are subsequently also always implemented plastically.
