Yip Ji-hung, screen name: blazing sun is blue Cross-border painter Yip Ji-hung, born in Hong Kong. Born and raised in Taipei, from his teenage years to his university years, he has been taking advantage of his leisure time and club activities to learn painting under the tutelage of Taipei painters, and his works have been selected for the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall in Taipei, and he completed his first solo exhibition before graduating from the university. In his subsequent career, he has been a system engineer and business owner. He is a lover of Chinese literature and has a wide range of interests in traveling and photography. In the 80's, he started to collect contemporary Taiwanese masters such as Liu Qiwei and Yu Youren because he liked them, and in the 90's, he went to Beijing and Shanghai to collect Wu Guanzhong, Pan Tianshou, Cheng Shifa, etc. After 2016, he reintroduced painting as a part of his collection. After 2016, painting was reintroduced into daily enjoyment. Over the years, due to the continuous attention to the art of painting and hobby, coupled with years of life experience and vision, once I can once again use the brush to express, so I can freely catch the inspiration in the art of painting. I like to use figurative, realistic, and semi-abstract techniques, and splashes of color to express my images. My paintings are not just colors and lines. It should also be a surreal way of expressing the transcendence of time and space. Sometimes it can also be a record of the present, a record of the beauty of life found in everyday life, but it must have literary connotations. Since I love Chinese literature and history, for example, depicting the plum blossom, which is definitely the subject of Chinese literature and artists through the ages, I would visit the eastern suburb of Guangzhou or the Plum Blossom Park in the Forbidden City of Taipei for 15 consecutive winters to try to find out how to incorporate and continue to express the Chinese literati's ability to express the theme of the plum blossom in a different way using contemporary and innovative methods. The theme of "Plum Blossom" is different. Then, I will definitely use words to describe my feelings when I paint each piece of work, and record each moment as if it were a song. Let a single painting have the literary and spiritual connotations that come directly from the artist's writing. History of Exhibiting Paintings: 21 years old, exhibited at the Founding Father's Memorial Hall in Taipei. Age 22 Solo exhibition in Taipei. November 2021 Participated and selected for the first time in the Guangzhou Academic Biennale of Oil Painting (Oil Painting Lingnan) December 21 Participated in the 26th Guangzhou Art Fair and won an award. In early 22, was invited to sign the global copyright of some paintings, and handed over to a famous ceramics company in Foshan to make them into limited edition petroglyphs for promotion and sale.
