Concept

Hi there! I’m Masha GorodiLova, I also known as Lova Muse. This is my artistic name which means Lova is the last 4 letters of my last name and the Muse represents for me something beautiful and ephemeral, something that inspires me and helps me convey my emotions on canvas. Creating art is my way of communication. To me it’s a medium to express emotions and thoughts through my abstract portraits. And also creating art is a way to heal my childhood traumas and turn them into something beautiful on canvas. I retreated into myself and out came art. I like the subjects of my paintings to act as a vessel to evoke emotions, connections, and memories. I paint mostly portraits -abstract just enough to reveal the emotions present- with texture and marks that invite a closer exploration.

Biography

Lova Muse is Masha GorodiLova
Italy based, russian born contemporary painter and artist.

Masha was born in Russia and moved to Italy at a young age, she holds a degree in Art History and a postgraduate diploma in Fashion Stylist.
Having traveled and lived in 3 Continents (South America, Asia, Europe), she is fluent in 4 languages (Russian, Italian, English, Spanish) and has a multi-ethnic cultural background.

Drawing has been her passion since childhood. Even as a child, Masha was always especially interested in faces as the most expressive and eloquent part of the human body. She loves to mix techniques and styles, composing "digital" and "physical" art into a system.
Her major source of inspiration is in feeling and living as a Citizen of the World, always ready to grasp the beauty and strength of female nature that is released in the Universe.

The first international exhibition in which Masha GorodiLova took part was in Dubai (UAE) in 2020.
