Concept

The poem "One Human Being" by Saneatsu Mushanokoji, which I read as a child, is my starting point, and that is exactly the concept. Every artist develops his or her own philosophy, and this piece of modern poetry is the cornerstone of my philosophy. All of my works are titled after a line from the poem "One Human Being": "Isn't it enough to be one human being? The colors, shapes, and matiere that emerge from it are the form of my mind, and sometimes the form of someone else's mind. I hope you will be able to experience the various colors and shapes of my heart through my work, whether you sympathize or repel. At the same time, I believe that the cornerstone of "one human being" originally existed in everyone's heart as the foundation stone of the human race called homo sapiens. It is possible for us to recognize each other even though we come in different colors and shapes. I would like to continue to draw from my deepest wellspring, the freshest fountain of life, and continue to paint the shapes of our hearts. “美しきウクライナ”

Not a day goes by that I do not see what is happening in Ukraine. I try to place myself in the news footage, but all of my senses stand still. I started to create, wanting to move something. As I started to paint on the canvas with only the senses that were not consciously present, various shapes began to emerge. They were the shapes of my heart. As I continued to paint the shapes of my heart day after day, before I knew it, the awareness of "melody," "voice," and "wind" was born. The melody, voice, and wind brought to me by the shapes of the heart are commonplace, but they are truly important. A beautiful world.

Biography

The work of Naomi Izumoto is "Zen. If the search for the truth of existence is Zen, then her paintings are just that. If the search for the truth of existence is Zen, then her paintings are just that. If the search for the truth of existence is Zen, then her paintings are just that.

During her years of compulsory education in Japan (6-15 years old), she repeatedly moved to six different schools. In the midst of the sense of alienation that followed her, she came across Saneatsu Mushanokoji's poem "One Human Being. I want to be an individual human being who does not make others miserable, but does not make himself miserable in return. I felt the words of an unknown poet supporting me.

The poem continued, "I want to be a human being who draws the freshest spring of life from my deepest wellspring," and that was the meaning of her painting.

The background attacked and erased the shapes that appeared on the canvas. The shapes that appear on the canvas are attacked and erased by the background, but the shapes rise up again, trying not to be defeated by the background. The exchange continues in a variety of colors and intensities, and before long, the present moment of Izumoto Naomi's heart is depicted.

The poem continues, "I want to be a human being that everyone can look at and think, 'This is what it means to be a human being.
