Every time I am ready to start a new painting, it has to have inner push: – my agitated feelings from somebody else’s painting, beautiful, eye-catching play or contrast of light or colors, or interesting person. You’re catching yourself doing intuitive composition of the future painting, comparing different tones on flashed dress, etc. All these need to expand, grow and occupy my mind. And then – explosion. My mind is inside the picture and nothing should interrupt this process.

I studied painting in college along with private instructors and accomplished artists, both Russian and American. This has helped me to develop my own style based on impressionism and strong brushwork, along with impulsive style and broken color. I studied some watercolor and liked it, but my passion is oil painting. It has richness and ability to work more and deeper than other material. The result can be multilayered and more impressive.
I am interested in different art trends, but mostly impressed with impressionism of Russian and French painters as Konstantin Korovin, Nikolay Fechin, Claud Monet, Paul Cezanne or Camille Pissaro.
I am proud and honored that my paintings are shown in many private residencies and galleries of United States, and Europe.
