Concept

I was separated from "painting" for a long time. One day, when I thought, "I still want to paint," my world miraculously changed in a shocking way. It was as if the hands of a rusty clock had begun to move dully. While I was in pain, sadness, and fear, my previous experiences and thoughts that I had locked away appeared before my eyes as motifs and colors. I acknowledge and accept everything that comes from within me, and use these images as motifs for my creations. Painting connects me to new encounters. I use Japanese paper, gofun, vermillion, iwa-enogu (mineral pigments), sumi ink, foil, glue, and other natural materials for Japanese painting, and add my own arrangements.
