Return to nature and learn from nature. This is where inspiration is born. The infinite existence of imagination within is given form as a creation. We are connected to nature, to the universe, and to the world. We face the trees and ourselves as if we are enjoying the true joy of being born on the earth, which is connected to all of them. It lives and decays just as it is. To the beauty of such driftwood, I will add a little bit of Tomokusha's sensibility. I came to the earth to play. I am glad I was born on the earth. Tomokusha lives with his creations. And Tomoksya's works, which are connected from the art of the natural world to our daily lives, will pass from generation to generation and quietly return to nature someday.

“Tstool”

It is a stool with wooden shoes. The name "Tstool" is derived from the initials "T" of TOMOKSA and the "T" felt from the form of the work. By creating the sole of the shoe, the stability of the stool is further ensured. In addition, the Tstool number (a logo and number based on the Tstool form) is placed on the sole of the shoe using a burning pen.

It all starts with an amateur. I didn't even know what I could make. But I could not suppress my rising spirit. Walking along the mountain path, I was overwhelmed by the dynamism of the trees. Encountering driftwood, I was fascinated by its beauty sharpened by nature. I wanted to give form to this feeling. I thought how wonderful it would be if I could connect the art nurtured in the natural world to everyday practical use. I wanted to change my way of life. I was beginning to realize that the common sense of the world, created by people who are lumped together as socially conscious, is insane as a human instinct. I decided to quit my job and prepare myself to live by creating. By resigning at the time of a change of employment, which is mandatory for public school teachers, I gave myself and my past work responsibilities a chance to settle down. He rented an abandoned house in the mountains, which could be called a derelict house, and began by building a house by demolishing and renovating it. I thought that if I could build a house for an amateur, I could build anything after that. I was not very good at making things, and I made a lot of fools of myself. Still, it was fun. I was crazy about it. Of course, I also felt frustrated. I was nothing. I learned how much I had been protected by my title. I also felt fear. I wondered how far I would fall. After about a year and a half of house-building, I finally began to create a work of art. It was a different start from making a house. Facing the materials, he continued to question his sensibilities. He had no skills, tools, or knowledge. Still, he made a variety of things. The theme he based his work on was practical objects. I wanted to create something that fused art and everyday life. Then, he discovered the pleasure of making chairs. I could see it, touch it, sit on it, and feel it. I thought it was something I could feel comfort with my whole body. While making various chairs, Tstool was born. In the course of further creative activities, I finally found a name that matched all of my feelings and works. The name of the workshop is "Takae Tomosaku Ryu Mokusha," and my guiding principle is "Takae Tomosaku Ryu Mokusha," or "Tomokusha" for short. Biography: Born in Tokyo, Japan in 1974. 1998 Graduated from Japan University of Physical Education, and after 8 years of teaching, became a physical education teacher at a public junior high school in Tokyo. 2016 Retired. The same year, he moved to the mountains of Shizuoka in search of a place to create. He renovated an abandoned house as his home and studio to train himself in self-taught creative activities. After about a year and a half of house building, he started making furniture using driftwood and natural wood. In 2019, he invented a stool with wooden shoes. He developed it as "Tstool". Since then, various versions have been added to Tstool, including tables and chairs.
