Concept

I paint the scenery I want to see or something that comes to my mind, and I paint in my mind everyday in the hope that the viewer will expand his/her imagination. But there is a lot of joy when I am able to successfully express the world I have imagined. I always hope that the people who see my work will buy it, own it for a long time, and feel some kind of empathy for it, and that this empathy will spread in a positive direction. Although the method of expression is all digital, I hope to make limited edition prints (what we call giclée prints) that are easy to purchase and priced in a way that will give me the energy to move on to the next work of art. The prints are high quality, printed with pigment ink that will not fade for 70 years according to the manufacturer, and the paper is of a high quality texture. I am currently working on a fictional Japanese landscape, 365 Views of Mt.
