Concept

Ivan Ivanov,s creativity repspects , stylistically , stems from the art of Russia at the beginning of the 20th century , the so-called "russian avant-garte". Studying at the Moscow Textile University , at the Fuculty of Applied Arts in an experimental group with talented teachers: Kozlov W.N. ; Dzhemal D.Sh. and Kobzev D.R. It was a unique project , which unfortunately did not receive suppot and there was only one issue , where Ivan was lucky enough to study (1987-1992). Ivanov Ivan,s works are primarily distinguished by their collor system ; color creates images and mood. Compositional solution of spase and plastic structures of forms , harmonious color ratios and , of course , the texture of the surtace. The topics are varied ; here are compositions based on musical works of rock groups "Deep Purple"- " Smoke on the water' and "Led Zeppelin"- " Kashmir" , a dedicationto such a direction as the blues. Literature and history attracted interest from early childhood , J.R.R. Tolkien,s 'The Lord of the Rings" inspired the creation of a whole series of works in the 90s of the 20th century , even before the release of the famous film. Also , Ivan creates tapiseries in the author,s perfomace (from sketch to finished product).

Was born in the city of Cheboksary(Russia) in 1960 , my father was an artist and from childhood he brought up in me a love
of art. Studied at the Moscow State Textile University at the Faculty of Applied Arts , specialty-weaving (1987-1992). After
graduation , he taught in the city of Tver (college), then moved to the city of Cheboksary and also taught at the pedagogical
university at the department of design. Member of the Union of Designers of Russia since 1997.Participant of numerous
