Concept

Fine Art is a part of my inner self and is not limited to painting, but also to drawing-graphics and sculpture. All this mainly towards painting and graphics. I approach different topics depending on my mood, depending on where I am at a given time. If I spend some time in my mother's flower garden, then I find inspiration here. If I spend and go hiking to explore the environment, I am inspired by landscapes, especially mountains and lakes. In terms of compositions besides the source of inspiration from the environment and the state of the world, I combine them with the mood of that moment. I approach strong colors, red, blue, green, but also the orange-blue range, all related to the mood. I prefer to work in oil colors on large canvas from 100 cm and up, but also acrylic colors, in some cases those with floral inspiration are small. I want to give back the beauty of the environment from the artist's perspective and especially the fact that we have a unique planet that deserves to be protected, deserves to be held in the palms and protected from harmful sources and harmful aspects on the planet. I believe that a true work of art is never finished but only abandoned that can continue, change like nature that is always changing.

Visual artist, Costin Cristian, Graduated Fine Arts Aurel Popp High School between 1992-1996, since 2004 established in Cluj-Napoca ( Romania), and also a member of the Cluj-Napoca Association of Fine Artists.Plastic Art represents me, is another form of expression, another form of environmental play. I work in the field of painting, drawing and modeling sculpture, most paintings are made in oil on canvas, but also in acrylic colors on canvas and wood. Painting works are made especially in colors of oil or acrylic on canvas, a few on wood, with complex themes, from landscape to composition. I prefer painting landscapes in a realistic way but also with accentuated or spaced coughs, not only landscapes but also abstract, figurative, non-figurative compositions. In the vast majority I prefer to work on large
surfaces from 100 cm upwards, obviously there are also smaller works.

The exhibitions I participated are:
- The "Spring Colors" collective exhibition held on April 3, 2012 at the Octavian Goga Library in Cluj-Napoca.
- The "Work, sun and color" collective exhibition on Oct. 28, 2013, held at the Octavian Goga Library in Cluj-Napoca.
- Collective Exhibition in November 2015 at the Casino-Center of Urban Culture in ClujNapoca.
- The "Spring Festival" collective exhibition of 17 May 2018 at Diverta in Cluj Napoca
- Personal graphic exhibition on 02.03.2021-29.03.2021 held on Center of AAP Cluj.
- Collective exhibition Monochrome Black-White and something else held on ClujArt Gallery on 17.05.2021-30.05.2021
