Concept

This watercolor painting is based on the concept of sculptures craved on the temple walls for the outer and inner decoration of the temples. Thes group of temples are an UNESCO world heritage based in Madhya Pradesh, India. The sexual and conceptual Beauty attracted me the most as all the sculptures there are related toh the concept of "Dharma, Karma, Moksha and Kama". In the foreground is th figure of Lord Shiva with two apsaras on the right the right side of him , one on the far right is a bit broken which shows that now they've been somewhat ruined with time. On the top right corner a figure of 'Nadi' , a cow , in sitting position. In the background I've kept a blur representation of the really small sculptures that are also seen on the walls of many temples. This composition represents the rich cultural of India.

Biography

I am a learning artist based in India, completing my bachelor's degree in fine arts. Since my childhood I was always more attracted towards art and crafts and used to do it for hours. I used to take part in all the art competitions in my school and won a lot of them. In 11th and 12th grade I choose painting as a subject and my interest grew a lot more and wanted to learn this skill further. So after graduating High School I went to an art college to polish my skills and understand the meaning of true art . This was my hobby which I turned into my dream of becoming a painter. The more I read and observe I always get to learn about so many new things which I have seen before but never understood. I got to know that a painting is not something which is done on a surface but it is the feelings and thoughts of the artist which he or she is able to convey to the others through their work.
