Harumi started painting since she was little, and as she gets older, she gradually began to be drawn into the mysterious world of colors. Eventually, she was attracted to the abstract world and for the last 20 years, she has expressed sounds and dynamics by filling colors in the space created by the intersection of straight lines and curves. The expression and shape change completely by the brightness and saturation of colors. She started creating her work with oil painting, but they changed to acrylic and now to Japanese painting especially to pursue expressions that the Japanese traditional materials can create.
I was attracted to the messages that each artworks has. I personally focus on the empathy for the vision and message from daily bases so it was nice to feel that.
