BIOGRAPHY
My name is Maria Elisa Pifano and I was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela in 1958.
I studied at Parsons School of Design in New York City where I received a degree in Interior Design. While working towards my degree, I also studied ceramics and painting, for which I developed an interest that evolved into my full time practice as an artist. Presently, I work in Caracas, Venezuela as a multi-disciplinary artist with ceramics and paintings.
