    Description

"Milky Way" is a mesmerizing watercolour painting that transports you to the depths of the cosmos. The artwork captures the ethereal beauty of the night sky as it comes alive with the resplendent glow of the Milky Way. Against a dark blue backdrop, the Milky Way illuminates the heavens in shades of turquoise, while bursts of shimmering gold pigment add a touch of celestial magic that dances in the light.

The focal point of the painting is the magnificent Milky Way, stretching across the canvas with a sense of vastness and grandeur. The luminous turquoise tones evoke a sense of tranquility and mystique, beckoning the viewer to lose themselves in the depths of the universe.

As you gaze upon the painting, the Milky Way seems to come alive, as if it is in constant motion. The bursts of gold pigment add a touch of celestial stardust, creating an enchanting shimmer that captures the eye and evokes a sense of wonder.

The dark blue night sky serves as a backdrop, enhancing the brilliance of the Milky Way. It is a canvas upon which the universe paints its most magnificent masterpiece. The depth of the blue hues creates a sense of depth and vastness, immersing the viewer in a cosmic expanse that is both awe-inspiring and humbling.

The overall ambiance of "Milky Way" is one of cosmic majesty and wonder. The painting invites you to contemplate the mysteries of the universe, to marvel at the sheer magnitude of the cosmos, and to embrace the sense of awe that comes from witnessing the beauty of the Milky Way.

    Concept

I've learned to enjoy the process, that's what I like most about watercolor. I work mainly in the wet-on-wet technique, because that's how watercolor shows its maximum potential. The result is always unpredictable, because the watercolor does half of the work and I like that bit of unpredictability that I can't change. I complete the painting and the painting completes me.

The granularity of the pigments, the undertones, the airiness - that's why I love watercolor. I really like to experiment and paint not only with traditional watercolor tools such as brushes, but also with bags, napkins, sponges, etc. I like to paint on large formats as I feel more free to do so.

The main idea of my art is to give people an opportunity to understand themselves and their attitude by looking at familiar things, to discover simple things anew.

I draw on free subject matter, it's more important for me to feel what I want to depict, whether it's an apple or a street in Italy. I'm interested in exploring color combinations and their effect on people in my work.

I try to capture the essence of what is being portrayed without being too detailed, leaving the viewer free to imagine. I'm inspired by the space around me, the way nature and man live together.
