    Technique : Mixed Media

    The artist mainly used oil-based ballpoint pens for drawing, and painted the flowers and other parts with acrylic paints.
    The outlines of the flowers are drawn by squeezing out a mixture of medium and gray paint to create a three-dimensional effect.
    The colored hair and flowers are painted with pearlescent paints, so their expressions change depending on the angle of view and the way the light hits them.

    The subject girl looks beautiful and smiling, but she has scars.
    The wounds here refer not only to apparent wounds but also to mental wounds.
    We all have scars, but we don't show them on the surface and live with a smile on our face.
    I painted this picture with the idea that if we could understand our own wounds and those of others, the world would be a kinder place.

    Using a combination of pen, acrylic paint, lamé, and pearlescent painting materials, she creates a dark, aesthetic world of "the present in a dream" with an image of a young girl as the main subject. Using a combination of allegorical motifs, she creates her works with an awareness of illusion and nested structure like a deceptive picture under the main theme of "the relationship between the figure and the ground.
