再会 / Praying for reunion

Concept

The dynamics that come from the mind, body, and soul. Memories and emotions stored behind the retina. Colors become sounds, the body undulates, and consciousness flows. When every scene tries to pass through me, I erect a fragment of the world I have sensed. My work is inseparably linked to my interest in the question, "What is existence? Painting, for me, is a medium to store the elusive infinity that exists before my eyes, or the living time that echoes that infinity, before it decays in my perception. I prefer abstraction to figuration, and an indefinite expanse of color to clear lines, because I want to capture the ever-changing movement that refuses to be reduced to specific information. For me, raw time is not linear, but always circulates, reverberates, and regenerates. How can I hold the abyss that lies behind existence metaphysically through color? To explore this question, I repeatedly experiment with color and perception, and continue to experiment with two-dimensional expression in my own unique way.
